My name is Lois Van Mark and I oversee the daily operations of our family-owned dry-land farm in Goshen County. We have a no-till operation utilizing a four-year rotation of wheat, sunflowers, millet, and summer fallow.

I have previously served on the Wheat Commission as Chairman and was recently appointed again by Governor Mead to serve for three years. During my previous terms, I was able to represent the Commission on the Board of Directors of US Wheat Associates. I am also a member of the Wyoming Wheat Growers Association where I have served as President.

I was elected to the Torrington Town Council in 1993 and served until 1998. I was also elected to the Goshen County Board of Commissioners in 1991 and served until 2001 when I received the appointment to serve as the USDA Farm Service Agency State Executive Director, until 2009.

I am active in the Goshen County Fair 4-H program, Goshen County and state-wide Republican Party, and attend the North Hills Baptist Church in Lingle,WY.
